The Natural Wonders Litter Turns 4 Weeks Old

These nine siblings are really starting to move around, making it a challenge for their two-legged mom to get good photos of them. It’s a good thing they are getting better at eating their gruel, because mom is becoming wary of their developing teeth! They have moved into bigger digs and are learning to potty in the right place. There was a brief taste of the great outdoors today, but thunderstorms put an end to that. They have also now had several sets of visitors, which they enjoyed.

The Natural Wonders Litter Turns Three Weeks Old

These nine pups have begun to play with each other in earnest, and are starting to interact with their human caretakers. They have learned to lap up a little goats milk, and are learning that their potty area is away from the bed area. They have moved out of their whelping box and into an X-pen, where they are exploring the toys, and getting on and off the beds with increased ease. There are bells hanging on their pen that they are learning to ring, something enjoyed in particular by Bona. It is getting hard to keep track of their daily changes and growth.

The puppies are really starting to grow now, and reveal their individual personalities. They have had their first nail trimming, and will soon be walking. There are no more seal slides as they make their way around their box, instead little wobbly attempts to get up on all fours. Enjoy these photos and watch their progress!

The Natural Wonders Litter Turns One Week Old

Their growth is now starting to take off. They are a very vocal and active bunch,
making conformation testing and photography a challenge. Individual personalities are already starting to show. Momma Kala is a very doting and attentive mom. It seems to be the moment she has been waiting for.

Closer to Home Litter Seven Week Update

It is hard to believe that these puppies are seven weeks old and will start to go to their forever homes in just one week. They have had a lot of visitors, young and old, and have done very well with all of them. They have had individual explorations outside of their yard and away from their pack. Though, a little nervous at first, all have done very well with that, and even handled meeting the resident chickens and rooster. They have also graduated to regular collars, so some of them are in new colors. More interesting experiences are scheduled for their final week here.
