Solo is from Nukka’s Closer to Home Litter. He is a big boy, much larger than my other Chinooks, tipping the scales at 99 pounds and almost 27” at the withers. He is a very calm, but social boy, and gets along well with other dogs, my gentle giant. He displays a steady and earnest pace pulling a sled, bike, or skier. He loves to don his backpack and hit the trails. He has gotten a taste of scent work, and has done well in the conformation ring in both AKC and UKC. He has won the Northern Group in UKC, and was named the AKC Chinook National Best of Breed in 2021 by the honorable judge, Pat Trotter.
