CH ‘PR’ Moonsong Small Wonder a.k.a. Reine

Born June 13, 2012

Reine (rain) is named in honor of a late friend who loved dogs, and adored Ukko. I have no doubt that she would have embraced this sweet girl with all her heart. Reine is more reserved with strangers than Ukko, but once she sees him getting all the attention she jumps in with all four feet. When she sees someone she has met before, even once, she displays unbound enthusiasm including vertical leaps that would be the envy of most basketball players. She runs just for the pure joy of running, bewildering Ukko with her tight circles, and leaping over him. She is happy to pull, whether alone or in tandem with Ukko, but she is the leader then. She is not the preferred Chinook color of tawny, but an unusual gray and tan. With this color she is disqualified from AKC conformation shows, but she can, and has been shown in UKC conformation, where this color is still considered a fault. Despite this fault she earned her championship, and was recognized at the 2013 Chinook National Specialty as the Reserve Best Female. In 2017 she was the Champion of Champions at the Chinook National Specialty. Reine was bred with Ukko in 2015, and their Glacial Calves Litter arrived on Oct. 26, 2105. Puppies from that litter have moved on and are ready to have litters of their own. Check the ‘Puppies’ tab for expected litters. Check the ‘Contact’ tab for a puppy application.
